One sunny day, he spotted a big, muddy puddle in his yard. “Yippee!” shouted Gus. “I’m going to jump in that puddle!” Gus put on his bright red boots and ran toward the puddle. His friend, Bud, saw him from the swing. “Wait for me, Gus!” Bud called, swinging high. Gus waited. “Come on, Bud! It’s fun!” Bud jumped off the swing and ran to join Gus.
