Along the way, they encountered a silver-leafed tree that spoke in whispers. “Beware the Shadow Sprites,” it warned. “They feed on fear.” As they journeyed further, the trio crossed a sparkling river where a talking fish gifted them a glowing scale. “This will guide you in darkness,” it said before vanishing. Soon, they entered the Misty Maze, a twisting path filled with illusions created by the Shadow Sprites. Using the glowing scale, Aadya revealed the true path, banishing the sprites.
