In the magical land of Numberville, the numbers lived in cozy houses on a street called Place Value Lane. There were two neighborhoods: Tens Town and Ones Village. One day, in Ones Village, the number 3 was trying to give 5 apples to a friend, but there was a problem. 3 didn't have enough apples! Oh no! How can I give 5 apples when I only have 3? thought the number. But in Numberville, the numbers always help each other. So, 3 had an idea: "I’ll borrow some apples from my neighbor in Tens Town!" So, 3 went next door to Tens Town to talk to the number 6 who lived there. "Hey 6, I need to give away more apples than I have. Can I borrow some from you?" 6 smiled and said, "Of course! We’re neighbors, and neighbors always help out." So, 6 gave 1 of its apples to 3, but because it was from Tens Town, it was worth 10 apples! Now, 3 turned into 13 with the borrowed apples! "Yay!" said 13. "Now I have more than enough to give away 5 apples." After sharing 5 apples, 13 was left with 8 apples. And since 6 gave 1 apple to Ones Village, it turned into 5 in Tens Town. The numbers were happy because they helped each other, and everyone got exactly what they needed. And so, whenever a number doesn’t have enough to subtract, they just borrow from their neighbors in Tens Town, and everything works out perfectly.

It was the first time I’d really spoken to her, and it made me realize that talking to new friends wasn’t so scary. Who knew making friends could be so paws-itively delightful? As days went by, Flower and I grew closer. I learned she had a big heart and wanted to help our village. Together, we found ways to scare away the crows with shiny distractions. Some farmers were quiet and went about their work in a methodical thoughtful way. Some liked to gather the workers around them to make sure that each person could speak up and be heard. Some liked to laugh and joke, and inspire the others by working longer and harder. Yet some were more serious, and liked to give clear orders of what to be done and bye when. In respecting and embracing these differences, the kingdom achieved greater success and harmony. Kofi's journey taught him that with a positive attitude, meditation, goal-setting and releasing resentment, he could overcome any obstacle and make a meaningful impact on his kingdom.

Once they arrive they are in awe! Together, hand in hand, Remy and Tita lead the way with their animals friends closely behind them. Once across, they are wowed by the magical landscapes and colors. This world across the rainbow bridge is colorful and beautiful. Not only do they see the wild unicorns, but waiting to greet them is their old animal Friend, Bruno. Reunited and full of love, all the friends head off together to play and spend the day together. A magical day, they can enjoy once a year on Remy’s special day.

A Library Book is excited to be the newest book in the library. Children are excited to borrow the new book. we follow one boy on his week with the library book reading it in the back of his car, at dr appointments and at bedtime. When the boy returns the book to the library a new boy checks it out. This boy is named Edward. Edward does not take care of the library book. He leaves it on the floor. A dog picks up the book in its mouth and carries it outside. Edwards mom finds the book outside and puts it in a dark closet. The library book is so sad. He sits in the dark closet for weeks until a letter comes from the library saying "Please return this book to the library, if this book has gone missing, please replace the book so others can enjoy it" Edward forgot all about the library book! He looks in all the regular places, on his bookshelf, under his bed. He can't find it anywhere! Finally Edwards mom tells Edward, "Maybe we need to start looking in some weird places" Edward looks on top of the fridge, behind the computer, even in his dirty clothes basket. Edward finally opens up the closet to find the lost library book! Edward and his mom bring the book back to the library where a young girl promptly checks it out again
