The setting is a single-family house with a mom, a young boy Jake and dog Hipis. It’s a morning on a snowy day and it’s a beautiful sunrise. The mom has so much to do. The house is messy her son has made a mess with blocks, toys and trucks. She wants to enjoy the sunrise and walk out with her baby to watch it, but starts cleaning and getting everything ready around the house. She does not want to go out until she is finished, the dog is fed and it is all perfect around the house. She wants to be prepared for everything. Her and her boy missed the sunrise because of all the Cleaning. She tried to make everything perfect but in the end, it’s turned against her and they missed the beautiful moment. The next day, the same thing happens, but her son reminds her about the sunrise last minute and they both go out. The house is still messy, but they have a special moment together. It’s reminds them that not everything has to be perfect and that's perfect. They’re smiling together.

She sees her parents setting up an altar and preparing food and learns to make a sweet rice cake with her mother. She is told that the festival is meant to honor parents and ancestors with offerings made at home and at the Vietnamese temple. Her family visits a temple and prays. Afterwards, they light and hang a paper lantern on a tree. The next day the family packs up old clothes and toys to give to their local Vietnamese charity. She eats at home healthy foods that promote hair health, like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and fish. She comes to the beauty salon once a month for hair maintenance, tips and suggestions to growing beautiful fabulous hair. The hairstylist gave her tips: the importance of avoiding excessive heat, taking vitamins, drinking water, sleeping on a satin pillow case or silk scarf, explaining the importance of a healthy scalp with illustrations of gentle scalp massages and using natural oils. Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

All the animals in the forest admired Cici's beauty, and she knew it. But unfortunately, the compliments made her arrogant 2. Cici often walked around the forest just to show off her beauty. "Look at my soft fur," she said to a turtle named Kiki. "No one can match my beauty!" She also often made fun of other animals. When she saw a turtle walking slowly, Cici said, "You are not only slow, but also ugly." 3. One day, a butterfly (Lulu) approached Cici. "Outer beauty is not enough, Cici. A good heart is more important," said Lulu wisely. However, Cici only laughed mockingly. "You are just jealous, Lulu. I am perfect!" 4. However, Cici's life changed when the rainy season arrived. The ground became muddy and soggy. When Cici walked, her fur became dirty and no longer looked shiny. No one complimented her beauty anymore. Cici felt ashamed and began to avoid her friends. 5. One afternoon, Cici heard a small voice asking for help. She saw the turtle she had teased before stuck in the mud. Although she was hesitant at first because she was afraid that her fur would get dirtier, Cici finally decided to help. She jumped into the mud and pulled the turtle out with difficulty. 6. The turtle smiled and thanked her. “You may be dirty now, Cici, but your heart shines brighter than ever.” 7. Since then, Cici began to change. She was no longer arrogant about her beauty, but became a friendly and helpful rabbit. And strangely enough, even though her fur was often not as perfect as before, she felt happier because now she was appreciated not for her appearance, but for her kindness.
