Bert was no ordinary dog. He was big, strong, and had the softest brown eyes. But what made him truly special was his job—he was a therapy dog. Every day, Bert and his owner, Mrs. G, put on his blue therapy vest and visited schools to help kids feel calm and happy. Some were shy, others nervous, but when Bert walked in, smiles grew, and hearts felt lighter. Bert loved belly rubs, gentle pats, and listening to kids read. It made him feel loved and important. One chilly afternoon, after visiting a school, Bert and Mrs. G were heading out when—slam!—a heavy door shut on Bert’s tail. He yelped. Mrs. G rushed to his side, worried and upset. She quickly took him to the veterinarian, who said part of Bert’s tail needed to be docked to heal properly. Bert had surgery and came home with a short, bandaged tail. But the hardest part wasn't the pain—it was missing the kids. He sat by the door every morning, waiting to go back. Weeks later, Bert had healed. His fur grew back, and one sunny morning, Mrs. G said, “It’s time.” Bert’s tail wagged happily. Back at school, the kids cheered. They didn’t care about his shorter tail—they were just happy their friend had returned. Bert was back, doing what he loved most: helping others, one wag at a time.

Danny was an 11-year-old boy who loved solving puzzles and exploring. One afternoon, while walking home from school, he noticed a folded paper tied with a red string lying on the sidewalk. Curious, he picked it up and found an old map with a note: "If you’re brave, your journey begins at the big oak tree." Excited, Danny followed the map to the oak tree in the park. Beneath its roots, he found a small box. Inside was a strange key and another note: "This key opens a door to something extraordinary. Look for the door at the old bridge." Without hesitation, Danny grabbed his bike and raced to the old bridge. There, hidden behind a pile of rocks, was a rusty door. Using the key, he unlocked it and stepped into a glowing underground tunnel. The walls were lined with riddles and glowing symbols. Danny solved each one, feeling like a real adventurer. Finally, he reached a large room with a chest in the center, faintly glowing. As he approached the chest, a voice from behind startled him. Turning, he saw an old man with a mischievous grin. – "You’ve done well to get this far, Danny," the man said. "But the real test is about to begin." Danny’s heart raced. What was in the chest? And what did the old man mean by a "real test"?

**Title: “Mia’s Big Heart”** Once upon a time in a sunny little town, there lived a sweet girl named Mia. Mia loved to help others. She would share her toys, help her friends with their snacks, and always had a smile for everyone. One day, while playing at the park, Mia noticed a new girl sitting alone on a swing. Her name was Bella. Mia wanted to be friends, so she skipped over and said, “Hi! Would you like to play with me?” But just then, a boy named Max, who liked to tease others, shouted, “Why would anyone want to play with you, Mia? You’re too nice! No one likes a goody-goody!” Mia felt a little sad, but instead of being mean back to Max, she took a deep breath and smiled. “That’s okay, Max! I think being nice is fun! Would you like to join us, too?” Max was surprised. Nobody had ever responded to him like that before. Mia’s kindness made him pause. He didn’t know what to say. Bella looked at Mia and then at Max. “I think being kind is really cool! Let’s all play together!” she said, her eyes shining. Mia led them in a game of tag, and soon everyone was laughing and having fun. Even Max couldn’t help but smile as he ran around with Mia and Bella. After a while, Max felt something different in his heart. He realized he didn’t want to be mean anymore. “I’m sorry for teasing you, Mia. I guess being kind is much better,” he said, looking down at his shoes. Mia beamed. “Thank you, Max! It’s always nice to be kind to each other. It makes us all feel good!” From that day on, Mia, Bella, and even Max became great friends. They played together every day, spreading kindness all around the park. And whenever someone felt sad or alone, Mia was always ready with a hug and a smile, reminding everyone that kindness is the best gift of all. The end.
