As the end of the ride approached, John Jr and Nazut thanked the pilot for "a magical experience that' was peaceful, exhilarating, and gentle." 7. Facing discrimination and hazardous conditions, they were key to the railroad’s completion. Over 1,200 Chinese workers died, highlighting their sacrifice.
