Their dad is a light complexion black man with a cleft chin and short buzz cut fade .

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived an adventurous girl named Amelia. She had a heart full of compassion and a spirit filled with curiosity. One day, while exploring the enchanted forest near her village, she discovered a hidden path that led her into a realm of magic.

Etisha and Mishika met on Tuesday, 1 March 2022. Two days later, Mishika went to invite her new neighbour for her birthday party. She was made to by her mother who said, “You must invite Etisha since she is new. She can make new friends.” And she did. Mishika and Etisha were inseparable since that day! What bonded them was a hamster. When Mishika went to Etisha’s house, she saw her out in the garden chasing a tiny brown hamster. To her surprise, Etisha shouted at her, “Will you just stand there and stare or you might want to help too. Come and get this little thing.” Soon, both Etisha and Mishika were running around a tiny cinnamon-coloured hamster. Finally, both managed to corner the little guy and put him in a box. “What exactly were you doing? And how come your hamster came out of the house?”, asked Mishika in between her breaths.

God describes David as “a man after My own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22). That does not mean that he was blameless. We only need to read 2 Samuel 11 to see that David has fallen very low: he took the wife of one of his generals, Bathsheba, because she was very beautiful. When Bathsheba turned out to be pregnant, David called her husband Uriah home from the battle field hoping he would sleep with her. That would “solve” the problem of Bathsheba’s pregnancy. But Uriah didn’t go home, not even when made drunk, so David sent him back to the battle field with a letter ordering his death. After Uriah’s death, David married Bathsheba. The description of this whole story ends with a clear comment: “the thing that David had done displeased the Lord” (2 Samuel 11:27). God didn’t let David get away with this. He confronted him with his sin, and David repented. Psalm 51 gives us an intimate glimpse of his emotions:

Page 7 At night, we look at the stars so far. “Do you think there’s a Monkey Star?” Monkey tilts his head just so, As if to say, “Of course, you know!” Page 8 I tell him secrets, big and small. “Do you love me, Monkey, most of all?” He hugs me close and holds me tight, Filling my heart with love and light. Page 9 “Monkey’s not real,” Mommy might say. But I know better—he’s real my way. She smiles and tucks us safe in bed. “You’re lucky to have him,” she said. Page 10 As I dream, we swing and soar, Through jungles, seas, and so much more. “I love you, Monkey,” I softly coo. And in his hug, I feel it, too. Page 11 Morning comes, soft and bright, Monkey’s here—my heart feels light. Page 12 With a hug, we start the day, Best friends forever, come what may.
