Her drawings were beautiful and showed how strong she was. One day, there was an art contest in her town. Maya was scared to enter, but she remembered what Nana Elena told her. She decided to be brave and enter the contest. Maya's drawings were amazing. They showed how proud she was to be Filipino. The judges loved her drawings and gave her the first prize.
