Benny froze for a moment, his bravery flickering. "Run, Sammy!" he yelled. But Sammy, though trembling, remembered something his mother had taught him: "Foxes don’t like being outsmarted." 6. Taking a deep breath, Sammy darted up a nearby tree, grabbing a loose branch with his tiny paws. He shook it with all his might, causing acorns to rain down on the fox. "Go away!" Sammy squeaked as acorns pelted the fox. Startled and annoyed, the fox yelped and ran off into the shadows. 7. Benny stared up at Sammy in amazement. "Sammy! You were incredible!" Sammy climbed down, his tail puffed up with pride. "I... I just did what I had to do." 8. When they finally reached the hidden meadow, it was even more beautiful than Benny had described, filled with colorful flowers and sweet berries. As they shared the feast, Benny grinned.

After he did so he got a band aid and was able to play and win the scoring goal for his team

The shepherd boy’s master, however, had given him a stern warning: Beware of the wolves. “If a wolf attacks,” the master said, “run to the village and cry for help.” And so, our shepherd boy went about his days, occasionally yawning as the sheep grazed. But mischief stirred within him. One day, he decided to play a prank. He ran to the village, shouting, “Wolf! Wolf!” The villagers dropped everything and rushed to his aid, only to find him doubled over with laughter. It was all a joke. The boy repeated this trick a few times, and the villagers, though annoyed, forgave him. But then, when a real wolf appeared, fangs bared and hungry eyes fixed on the sheep, the boy cried out again: “Wolf! Wolf!” This time, the villagers hesitated. “He can’t fool us twice!” they said, ignoring his desperate pleas. Tragically, many sheep fell victim to the wolf. Moral of the Story: Be honest in your words and deeds.

Before packing their suitcases, John Jr and Yuēhàn looked at some history books to have a better understanding of how Gettysburg battlefield was so important. 2. John Jr gave Yuēhàn some history about the Civil War. The American Civil War was a war between the Union (Northern US States) and the Confederacy (Southern US States) that lasted from 1861-1865. The war was fought over disagreements about slavery, states vs. federal rights, the election of Abraham Lincoln, and the economy. 3. John Jr found some information on the battle of Gettysburg. The Battle of Gettysburg was a three-day battle fought between Union and Confederate forces between July 1 and July 3, 1863, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The battle, which was won by the Union, is widely considered the Civil War's turning point, ending the Confederacy's aspirations to establish an independent nation. It was the Civil War's bloodiest battle, claiming over 50,000 combined casualties over three days. 4. Yuēhàn found some information of the final battle and shared it with John Jr. The Battle of Palmito Ranch took place on May 12–13, 1865, near the Rio Grande in Cameron County, Texas. The battle was fought between Confederate forces under Col. John S. “Rip” Ford and Union forces under Col. Theodore H. Barrett. The battle resulted in a Confederate victory. 5. John. Jr and Yuēhàn finished packing and loaded up the car. They had a wonderful time in Gettysburg and even saw a Civil War reenactment.

Thick clouds would drift in and cover its light, making the Sun feel unnoticed and unappreciated. The Sun wondered why the clouds always blocked it. “Why do they stop my light from reaching the Earth?” it thought. “Maybe the Earth prefers the clouds over me.” These thoughts made the Sun feel even lonelier and less important. As the days passed, the Sun’s sadness grew deeper. It began to believe that its light was no longer needed. “Perhaps the Earth would be better off without me,” the Sun sighed, feeling lost and unsure of its purpose in the sky. One day, the Sun gathered its courage and decided to speak to the clouds. “Why do you always cover my light?” it asked with a heavy heart. The clouds floated gently and answered, “Oh, dear Sun, we don’t mean to block you. We are here to protect the Earth from too much heat and to bring rain that helps plants and animals survive.” The Sun was surprised by the clouds’ reply.
