Once upon a time, in the beautiful state of Arizona, a clever and adventurous ringtail cat named Sprite. He was no ordinary ringtail cat; he had a particular job that made him a hero to all children who visited the magnificent Arizona Biltmore, a Frank Lloyd Write-inspired Architectural historic hotel. Sprite's story began long ago, during the days of pioneers and gold rushes. Back then, people traveled west in search of fortune and adventure. Among these travelers were miners who settled in the rugged Arizona landscape. There, they discovered the little creature with a vibrant tail that they called the ringtail cat. Sprite was special because he was cute and affectionate and incredibly skilled at keeping children safe when they traveled. They were pets to the miners and helped make life a little bit easier for the children in the Wild West. He lived at the Arizona Biltmore, a grand hotel nestled amidst the stunning desert landscape.

The story starts with them in bed being read a bedtime story by their father who has sholder length dread locs in his hair, where he talks about lots of fun places around the world he'd like to visit. As they fall asleep and start to dream that is when the adventure begins. They visit Egypt, Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Dominica, Haiti, Portugal, Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Fiji. The last page is them waking up for their dream excited about the magical adventures they had just had.

It was a crisp October day, I woke up to the other dogs whining as the shelter workers let us all out of our kennels. Yes! Freedom! I ran so fast to the playroom to play with my friends! Today was going to be a big day - I can feel it! I played for hours and hours, until I had to have a nap. After lunch I saw two humans walk in and sit on the floor. The lady stood up and talked with a shelter worker, she came back and said "I'm going to be your new Mom" and I thought "Mom?." She said she would be back, she came back with a new collar and name tag with the name "Koda."

HAZEL COULD'T WAIT TILL SUMMER VACATION SO SHE CAN VISIT HER COUSINS IN THE COUNTRY. BUT HAZEL WAS NOT FAMALIAR WITH INSECTS LIKE ANTS AND HOW THEY BITE AND CREATE SORES. HAZEL STEPPED IN AN ANT BED AND SHE BEGAN TO SCREAM. HER FATHER RAN OVER TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. HAZEL HE NOTICES SHE HAD ANTS ON HER. HE BRUSED THEM OFF AND WHIPPED AWAY HER TEARS. HE TOLD HAZEL HE WILL PUT SOME CREAM ON HER BITES AND THEY WILL FEEL BETTER. HE BEGAN TO EXPLAIN TO HAZEL ABOUT THE ANTS AND HOW THEY ARE NEEDED ON EARTH. HAZELED NODDED WITH A SMILE AND STATED THAT SHE WILL BE MORE CAREFUL AND TO LOOK OUT FOR THE ANTS.
