On the way he passed his friends and they saw his changing color as he ran by. Chase called out “ grandfather, I changed colour”. The infinite cookies were actually a curse, and cupcake and peanut are suffering as a result of their gluttony. The moral of the story- do not eat too many cookies. The witch transforms into a speck of dust, and is blown away in the wind.
