Starosta, bojí sa smrti, zneužíva svoj vplyv a riadi všetko ako bábkové divadlo. Šerif zneužíva svoju moc, aby si zabezpečil svoje. V kostole sa smutné tváre modlia k Bohu, ale o živote na zemi vedia málo. V škole učia, že dva plus dva je päť, a deti prichádzajú o rozum. Rádio hrá stále tú istú smutnú pesničku. Nový sa jedného dňa prebudil a uvedomil si, že sem nepatrí. Rozhodol sa odísť, nevediac kam, ale nechce hrať toto staré divadlo. Príbeh pokračuje, a ty, nový človek, rozhodneš, kam pôjde.
