Aditi and Aryan stand nearby, watching with curiosity and concern. “Daadi, why is it so hard to pull the bucket up?” Aryan asked, worried. “Yes,” Daadi explained. “This effort is due to the force I am applying to the bucket by pulling it upward. A force is a push or pull. Right now, I’m pulling the bucket up, but gravity is pulling it down, which makes it feel so heavy.” “Gravity? What’s that?” Aryan asked, scratching his head. Chacha said, “A pulley is a wheel with a groove around it. When you pass a rope through the groove, it changes the direction of force. Instead of pulling straight up, you pull down, and it feels lighter” “Can we make one?” Aditi asked excitedly. “Sure! Let’s get some materials,” Chacha said. They found an old bicycle wheel, a rope, and a wooden frame. First, they attached the wheel to the wooden frame using nails. Then, they threaded the rope through the groove in the wheel and tied one end to an empty bucket. Aditi pulled the rope. the bucket lifted smoothly. “That’s the power of the pulley, It doesn’t make the bucket weigh less, but it helps you use less force to lift it.” The next morning, Daadi tried the pulley and was amazed. “Wah! Mom insisted that they needed to get some sleep and that they had the entire week to get know with their new sister. For Janice, sleep came easily, despite her excitement and newfound identity. She dreamed of being Mom's Christmas elf and wearing a green satin dress just like her sisters. She awoke the next morning happy and eager to face the day. The week went by quickly for the girls. Miko the Meerkat and Lou the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert, they are best friends (Miko and Lou must be in one picture). Miko loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari. Lou is a clever lizard; she loves to imagine the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class with the other meerkats. Lou also struggled in class. She couldn’t focus on her Sun Safety class with the other lizards because she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework.After visiting Dr Wild the Wildebeest, Miko and Lou learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tell you what type of insect you are looking at!Lou enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation (Miko and Lou need to be in the desert, in scenes like the class there needs to be other meerkat and lizards, not children) . They have support from their parents, teachers and classmates. But the best part was that they could count on each other!
