He told Samuel, “Say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.’” Page 8 Samuel listened, and God spoke to him. From that night on, Samuel became a great prophet, guiding Israel and teaching them to follow God. Page 9 Hannah’s faith and promise led to Samuel becoming one of the greatest leaders of Israel.
